A belated CONGRATULATIONS!

Kate and James got engaged about a forever ago now. But we’re still so happy and excited for them!

Last week began the one year countdown to the big day!

An excuse to wear a zorro mask, or massive boots basically. Not that you need an excuse – if you want to wear a mask everyday do it. We won’t judge.

Apparently, they are making a Puss in Boots spin-off movie. Hmm.

Decoration Inspiration: Paper!

We’ve featured the lovely Color Me Katie before. She does some amazing and very sweet things with simple coloured paper. We’re taking inspiration from her on how to decorate your parties in original and quirky, and more importantly budget, ways!

Oh dear. We have been terrible bloggers. We have been super busy working. Plus all this sunshine does not a hermit blogger make. However, we shall attempt to get back on track in the next few days and hit you up big time with some posts.

Bare with us! (Did you know if you work for a call centre you’re not allowed to use that phrase! This is incase the person on the other end of the phone (is an idiot) and thinks you want to mate with them. I can’t remember who told me this but it was definately someone who had been for call centre training. How silly.)

(Ps. We don’t want to mate with you, even though we’re sure you’re lovely. Just wanted to clear that up, just incase.)

What Pops?!

Summer – the season of (hopefully no) mists and (much) fruitfulness…and lollipops. Yum.

Lollipops are summer on a stick so if you’re planning a garden party in the sunshine why don’t you take some inspiration from the fruity stick of refreshing-ness (new word ahoy!) and serve all your food on sticks!

 

There are many a plus point to food stuffs on sticks but i shall mention only one:

1. It looks awesome

Ming Makes Cupcakes

 Don’t those cupcakes look unbelievably delicious?! Well theres more! On Ming Makes Cupcakes. And, she puts the recipes up too! Win! Everyone loves cupcakes however normal old sponge/icing cupcakes are old hat dudes! If you’re planning on serving cupcakes at your party give them a twist! Some ingredients Ming uses in hers are: beetroot, parsnip, guinness and sour cream! I’m dying to make some!
