Cake of the Week #23 – Britcake!

Okay, okay – I’ve been on America bender recently. I am obsessed, and I do need help to get over it. But, to make up for leaving the UK out a bit this Thanksgiving week, here’s a very British treat!

Britcakes! Ain't no Johnny Foreigner round here, kids.

Land of Fruit and Glory

Or perhaps you fancy a delicious Victoria sponge, the original queen of cakes? She deserves nothing less than a tin of great distinction.

Available at all good cake tin retailers!

And just for a bit of variety – you can go the devolution routh and localise your designs.

We know that's the flag of the Irish Republic, not Northern Ireland, but we couldn't find an NI cake! We love them both just the same, though x

So there you have it! Britcakes. The pilgrim fathers didn’t know what they were missing!
