“Wedding Season” is coming to an end, but believe you me, if you want to save a penny or two, gamble on an autumn wedding. Cheaper, easier to get the dates and the colours of the trees alone are worth it. Sure, you risk rain, but if you’re getting married in the UK then you risk it far more in July.

But we’re not all about wedding cakes – got to think of birthdays too! We found some fabulous little designs for those who, like my Mum, swear blind that its bad taste to have a tiered cake for anything other than a wedding. We disagree, of course – I don’t think more cake to go around could EVER be in bad taste, but there we are…
