Today is the 65th Anniversaire of the Liberation of Paris in World War II – Vive La France!
Speaking of Paris and WW2…today also sees the release of Quentin Tarantino’s long-awaited Inglourious Basterds. Part of Three have been lucky enough to see it already, and mais oui just say – c’est fantastique! It’s about as factual as Churchill: The Hollywood Years, but it’s sad, funny, tense and awesome in general.
Well, if ever there was a better time to be planning a nostalgic Blitz party, Three are unaware of it! Celebrate the liberation of the tour Eiffel with a jaunt to the cinematheque to see Tarantino back on top, and get some absolutely wicked inspiration for your forties fancy dress. Parfait!
